Design Museum

There is a very interesting exhibition going on in the Design Museum about Christian Louboutin (a french footwear designer). Unfortunately it was not permitted to take pictures but I would recommend this exhibition to everyone who has a preference for shoes..............and design of course!
The highlight of the exhibition is a Hologram which is just amazing. It is done so perfectly that I didn't even realise at first that its a hologram. But then the show begins and things start to change. That's when I realised what was actually going on. Its a must see!

DESIGN OF THE YEAR 2012 is another exhibition in the Design Museum. I had some interesting designs/inventions to see.

Guangzhou Opera House by Zaha Hadid

Zaha Hadid is one of my favourite architects. Her jaw-dropping designs are so inspiring to me and so pleasant for the eye. She is best known for her innovative and creative designs. I love the way she keeps everything so simple and at the same time so innovative. She uses very unusual shapes in her designs, no matter if its interior, exterior design or even product design, and this is what I really like about her.

United Visual Artists, High Arctic

This monument is designed to explore the arctic landscape and to make us think about the human impact in the Arctic region since the glaciers will have melted by the end of this century.

Product design is also a field that is of my interest. During the summer, I have tried to look at other design areas than spatial design such as product, interior and fashion design since I am aiming to continue my studies in a "top-up year" and I need to decide what direction I would like to take.
